Cider pouring is an art that requires skill and practice and many Asturians pride themselves on being able to pour cider perfectly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/descubregijon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/escanciar-sidra.jpg\" alt=\"escanciar sidra Asturias Gij\u00f3n\" class=\"wp-image-956\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Every year in Gij\u00f3n, the <strong>World&#039;s largest simultaneous pouring contest<\/strong>. This event attracts thousands of people each year, both locals and tourists, who gather in the <a href=\"https:\/\/descubregijon.com\/en\/playas\/\">West Beach<\/a> to try to break the world record for simultaneous pouring of cider.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Gij\u00f3n Cider Festival<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To set the record, each person must have a bottle of cider and a glass in their possession and pour the cider at the same time for a period of 15 seconds. The event is year after year a success, managing to increase the number of participants and, therefore, improve the previous record.
