The Asturias International Trade Fair (FIDMA) is an annual event held in the city. Is about one of the most important fairs in Spain<\/strong> and one of the oldest, with a history that dates back to 1889.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FIDMA is a massive event that attracts thousands of visitors each year. For more than two weeks, you can find all kinds of exhibitions and activities related to the business and commercial world, as well as culture, leisure and gastronomy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where is FIDMA?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The event is held at the Luis Adaro Fairground in Gij\u00f3n<\/strong>, a large outdoor space that has more than 50,000 square meters of surface area. In this place the stands and exhibitions of the companies are installed and the different activities and events are carried out. FIDMA is a fair that evolves year after year and although in its first editions it was focused exclusively on the industrial sector, over the years the fair has been adapting to new trends and market needs, including increasingly more subject areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, at FIDMA you can find exhibitions and activities related to fashion, sports, food, the automotive industry, technology, tourism and culture. In addition, the fair is also an important meeting point for businessmen and professionals from different sectors, who take advantage of the opportunity to establish contacts and close commercial agreements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the highlights of FIDMA is its program of activities and shows<\/strong>, highlighting the great variety of these, ranging from fashion shows to live music concerts, through sports exhibitions, children's activities and gastronomic tastings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, the fair has a wide variety of stands and exhibitions, which allow visitors to see first-hand the products and services of the participating companies. In recent years, the fair has been incorporating more and more initiatives and activities related to the protection of the environment and the promotion of sustainable development. Thus, for example, there have been exhibitions on renewable energy<\/strong>, have been promoted recycling practices<\/strong> and talks and conferences on environmental issues have been organized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
